The National Archives forms part of the Department of Libraries, Archives and Documentation Services. The collection comprises a wide range of Vincentian material in both print and electronic formats. The collection includes newspapers, magazines, journals, maps, stamps, books, government official publications, government department files, photographs, paintings, private papers and other paper based textual records. The National Archives is a research facility where the collection is available for consultation by researchers.
The Archives welcomes researchers: local, regional and international, students and the general public to consult our material. Readers are encouraged to discuss his/her research with staff before completing the Request Form and will be asked to agree to and follow the rules and procedures for use of material. Members of staff are happy to advise on how to handle this rare material for its preservation.
