The Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation has concluded the second stage of a two-year recovery programme to help students “catch-up” with learning lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the eruption of La Soufriere.

The Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation has begun preparatory work towards an international meeting of heads of government dubbed “Transforming Education Summit” (TES). The TES aims to mobilize action, ambition, solidarity, and solutions related to transforming education between now and 2030.

The Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation, in keeping with its school safety mandate and in its capacity as part of the NEMO Shelter Management Sub-Committee, will conduct a simulation exercise in one of the most hazard-proned areas on the Leeward side of the island.
