The Ministry of Education is issuing a call for one teacher from each school to enroll in a free course on Designing and Developing Online Assessments, scheduled to begin in November this year.

The preliminary results of the 2021 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA) indicate that almost 85% of registered students met the prescribed standard. A total of 1593 from the 1895 candidates achieved at least half of the possible 500 marks. Of these, 751 are males and 842 are females.

The Ministry of Education has begun the roll out of a two-year recovery programme to help students “catch-up” with learning lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the volcanic eruption.
