Three Vincentian students are preparing to leave the state soon to commence their University Studies in Venezuela.
The students are among a batch of fifteen (15) students who were selected for 2012 as part of the technical cooperation between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Venezuela.
An appeal has been made for parents and teachers to make a greater effort to carry forward the Education Revolution.
The Adult and Continuing Education Division is encouraging Vincentians to access the services which it provides at the Glen Adult Education Training Center.
Senior Education Officer, Zan George, said that at the center they currently offer programs in a number of subject areas which include: English, Science and Maths, among others.
He said that for the year 2013 they are preparing to introduce a new range of programs targeting persons over the age of sixteen, who are outside of the formal school system.
