Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, Digital Transformation and Information, Hon. Laverne King, and Ms Janeil Henry-Rose (Secretary General, SVG National Commission for UNESCO), on Wednesday, 15th April 2026, met with Ms Fumiko Ohinata (left), Secretary of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) at UNESCO.

In a step towards fostering a love for reading in the formative years, Hands Across the Sea, in collaboration with the Mustique Charitable Foundation, has officially launched a new initiative dubbed “The Early Pages Programme".
