The 2024 Ju-c Primary School Performing Arts Festival (PRISPAF) started today, 6th February, with the preliminary round of competition at the Questelles Government School.
The Preliminary session runs until 29th February, 2024 and will be hosted at different primary schools throughout the country.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture Dr. Resa Noel-McBarnett says that PRISPAF allows the nation’s children to showcase their talents and creativity.
McBarnette added that the Department of Culture saw the need for children to come out of their comfort zone and use their talents and by so doing, this would help in lifting their self-esteem.
PRISPAF is an event that is hosted by the department of culture in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. PRISPAF is sponsored by Ju-c and ECGC Companies. The Primary School Performing Arts Festival has been running for over 30 years.
