Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will observe a National Day of Prayer on Monday, 7th October 2024, under the theme “Togetherness, prosperity and perseverance.”
The event is being organized by the National Day of Prayer Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation, and aims to unite the nation in collective prayer, fostering a spirit of community and resilience among citizens.
A variety of activities are scheduled throughout the day, providing opportunities for individuals and groups to participate in meaningful expressions of faith and solidarity. These activities include:
- Workplace devotions
- School devotions
- Prayer visits to state institutions
- Interactive/on-air prayers (via radio)
Prayer village at the Ministerial Building Car Park from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The general public is invited to join in these activities as we come together to pray for our nation's future and well-being. Each activity is designed to encourage participation from all sectors of society, reinforcing our commitment to unity and shared purpose.
