Mission Statement

To preserve the history of the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines, and to encourage pride and awareness of the national cultural heritage of such patrimony:

• by collecting, documenting, conserving and facilitating access to private and public records of national historical value

• by offering a permanent repository and management service to government institutions and non-governmental organizations for records

• by educating the public on archival practices and working with communities on archival projects

• by providing opportunities for research and scholarship
